If you don't know what that is, it's the assumed pride and mental state of the general heterosexual male.
Y'know, the pride, dishonest and philandering nature of that we are supposed to have.

I am a straight black man BUT I apparently have been cut from a different cloth.....

Sitting in a cargo van heading to go pick up a load of food for Atlanta Public Schools and the two other passengers(both men) are talking about recent conquests. And as I listen to my music on full blast, I look up to both of them looking at me asking for my input. Asking questions like:

"How was your weekend? (granted it's Thursday and they've seen me all week.)"

"Did you clap cheeks?"

"Did you do the touchdown dance afterwards?" (I'm guessing I'm in a rolling locker room 🙄)

I'm perplexed by the questions because I'm wondering:

"WHAT IN THE F$&K ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THIS INFORMATION?!"

*Ahem* Because J. Cole said it best: "....and who you fuck don't make me cum.."

So I quickly answer as they start getting hype about it because I don't want them to know whether I did or did not have sex or not. Because I still don't want know why it matters.

But I start thinking about a time when it did qualify your "manhood" when promiscuous women and naked pictures meant something. But at 28, I don't really care about the glory and game of giving out the tales.

Because again:

"WHAT IN THE F$&K ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THIS INFORMATION?!"

How do you feel when you look in the mirror? Regaining one self-confidence.

So I was by one of my friends to do a entry on seeing the you no one else does. Or metaphorically speaking, looking in the mirror. People sometimes look in the mirror in order give themselves a false sense of security (Everythings ok......., He/She's coming back......etc) And I mean sometimes it may work out, but there are "thoses times". The times its that one little that blows your self confidence out the water. The guy who you liked that went with the girl you hate. Or some chick blowing your head up, but only wanted your money. So your egos shot and you have no one to turn to so what do you do? Some lie, some do a self check and "look in the mirror". "But what if I don't like what i see?". Change it, its that simple. So in light of Beyoncé's recent performance, I have to say congratulations on the accomplishments following: 1) Being the first Black person to headline Coachella. 2) Creating another generation of fanatics who are willing to pay exuberant amounts of money to see something that they could get for free. 3) for possibly damaging a untold number of relationships that were probably on the verge of a critical mass meltdown in the first place. 4) for playing into a trending topic that has been going on for DECADES.
